Enabling the Security Tab 1.  First, open 'Windows Explorer'. 2.  Then go to 'Tools' > 'Folder Options' as shown below: 3.  Once opened, go to the 'View' tab, and scroll to the bottom. Uncheck the checkbox labeled 'Use simple file sharing (Recommended)' as shown below: 4.  Select 'Apply' and then 'OK'. The Security Tab will now be enabled.
