Beginning the week of October 1st 2007 the Illinois EVR program will update itself during its overnight processing from version 2.3A to 2.3B.
This is a mandatory update per the Illinois Secretary of State to be in compliance and must be done on every computer that has the Illinois EVR program.
Make sure your Illinois EVR release is up to date. The most current release as of this date that is available for download is version 2.3A.
If your Illinois EVR is of any version earlier than 2.3A, you must first update to version 2.3A. After performing this update, the next overnight processing will then take you to version 2.3B.
How do I know what version I'm running now?
With the Illinois EVR program open, go to the 'Help' menu, which is located in the very top horizontal menu. Then select the 'About' option. A window will appear, and in the upper right hand area a line will read Version X.XX (the numbers and letters here are your current version number).
